Floor technician

Are you passionate about keeping floors clean and shiny? Do you have experience with various floor care equipment and techniques? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for our floor technician position.

As a floor technician, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning and maintaining different types of floor surfaces such as carpets, tiles, wood, vinyl, and concrete
• Performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, extracting, stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing
• Operating and maintaining floor care equipment such as sweepers, buffers, strippers, vacuums, and extractors
• Following all health and safety regulations and procedures when handling chemicals and equipment
• Reporting any damages, defects, or hazards to the supervisor or manager
• Cooperating with other staff members and providing excellent customer service

To be successful as a floor technician, you should have:

• Previous experience as a floor technician or a similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their proper usage
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Attention to detail and quality standards
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy items
• High school diploma or equivalent
